  Our waiter was Chelsea and she was excellent. My husband had the salmon and he thought it was wonderful. I had the pasta with vegetables. The pasta is made in house and was perfect, but the dish was very light on vegetables. I was not crazy about the sauce. It was very bland. Also, the cheese in the dish was all matted together. However, for Gallup, this is the most decent restaurant for an evening meal. We will definitely go back for a second visit.

  Excellent food...just excellent. My wife and I had steaks and the garlic mashed potatoes. We were actually mad at ourselves for not being able to finish it all. Steaks cooked to perfection. Waitstaff very nice. Decor was rustic, yet elegant. Would definitely go back if we ever go through there again!

  my wife stopped for dinner on a Monday in January. We were driving 66/I40 west and ran into snow when we found excellent service and food at Badlands. A bit pricey for Gallup, but nice western decoration and varied menu.
